Cyanotypes w/ Chloe Finley

​Experiment with the magic of cyanotypes, a traditional photographic process from the late 1800s that harnesses the power of the sun to create unique works of art in under an hour. This beginner-friendly workshop requires no prior experience and includes guided instruction on the cyanotype process. Participants will create their own image on a 4" x 6" cotton patch—perfect for customizing a piece in your wardrobe.

​Chloe Finley (they/them) is a Richmond-based craft artist inspired by their Appalachian roots. Their fiber-based artwork explores traditional techniques like embroidery, quilting, and cyanotyping to celebrate human/nature connection, queer joy, and the biodiversity of the American Southeast.
