THE LA CHAPTER LAUNCH EVENT FOR AWSM SCTY! Following our NY Tech Week Brunch, this continues our AWSM MRNGS series and IRL events to gather brilliant and vibrant Black & Brown funders, founders, and operators together in Los Angeles (with AWSM chapters in NYC and Miami).
In collaboration with Grid110, LA's prominent early-stage founder community and accelerator, break bread and socialize with investors and builders across all industries and startup stages and learn more about the exclusive AWSM SCTY community and our parent org, AWSM VC.
Featuring a lively, casual fireside chat with Alphonzo "Phonz" Terrell, the Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Spill, the blossoming social media platform that grew like a wild fire after Twitter's takeover by Elon. Joined by Jessica Salinas, the Chief Investment Officer at New Media Ventures, investing in entrepreneurs and activists wrestling with the biggest challenges facing our democracy.
