​From the defiant 1994 Pride March in Manila to the everyday struggles against state violence, religious conservatism, and economic injustice, this session will explore how queer and trans Filipinos have always been part of movements for liberation. We'll dive into historical milestones, current issues facing the community, and the importance of reclaiming Pride as a protest, not just a celebration.
