Afghanistan Today: The State of Press Freedom and Civil Society Inside the Country

​The event will bring together Afghan diaspora voices, journalists, civil society leaders, students, and policymakers to discuss the ongoing challenges facing Afghanistan’s press freedom and civic space. We will also share findings from my new report, “Isolated and Denied,” which documents the collapse of civic space and access to information under Taliban rule.
