Dr Jarrel Seah - Clinical AI Director at Harrison.ai and Annalise.ai, as well as a radiologist at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He has a keen interest in developing and applying novel deep learning algorithms in radiology and explainable AI. He has published and presented in both medical and technical conferences such as SPIE and Radiology, and is a coordinator of the inaugural RANZCR Catheter and Line Position Kaggle challenge.
A/Prof Daniel Capurro - Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne’s School of Computing and Information Systems and Consultant Physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. His research sits at the intersection of digital health and clinical care, focusing on the use of electronic health records, process mining, and applied machine learning to improve patient care and healthcare delivery. Daniel is a Fellow of both the American Medical Informatics Association and the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, and serves as Deputy Editor of NPJ Digital Medicine, one of the top journals in the field of health informatics. Daniel a medical doctor trained in Internal Medicine at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a PhD in Biomedical and Health Informatics from the University of Washington, Seattle.
Dr Vlada Rozova - Research Fellow in Applied Machine Learning at the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health, University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on developing AI-driven healthcare solutions, particularly automated disease surveillance and clinical decision support systems. She combines expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and health informatics to create practical applications that address real clinical needs. As a 2024 Women in Digital Health Leader, Vlada is passionate about bridging the gap between AI technology and clinical practice, developing AI solutions that are not just technically sound, but meaningful and usable in real-world clinical settings.
Dr Gihan de Mel: a Melbourne-based General Practitioner and the Co-founder & CEO of Swiftio, a health tech startup designing care coordination tools for aged care. He currently practises at Next Practice – Prahran, and serves on the Medical Editorial Board at Heidi Health. He is also a member of the Monash Health GP Advisory Committee and a Clinical Fellow at Outcome Health, where he contributes to innovation in primary care data and insights.
