FAIR Tech Registry Update Session - Criteria
Early this year, we concluded a collabathon to explore the concept of creating a FAIR Tech Registry for developers. By ‘FAIR Tech Registry (FTR)', we mean a searchable, curated list of tools and components that comply with FAIR principles, with built-in support structures & requirements for describing what each tool is for, how it interacts with other tools and data, and how it can be utilized or repurposed.
This session will provide updates on the work to date to create a FAIR Tech Registry prototype, with a focus on:
Partnerships and cooperative agreements supporting this work
Developments since we last convened in February
Community-ready resources for making your work more FAIR in practice
Next steps for engagement
In addition to our original group of conveners, we’ll be joined by Melanie Kammerer of EcoData, Meridian Institute, and the Conservation Benefits Catalog, as well as subject matter experts from the Producer Operated Data System (PODS) project to talk about our cross-project collaboration around FAIR resources.
