​We are gathering the region's scientists, technologists, and builders to explore new models for research and development.

​Join us in Sheffield for an evening of talks and networking focused on new models for innovation. We will hear from people who have branched out from normal traditional career paths to pursue R&D in different settings. We will be joined by the ARIA team who will pitch their work and announce their search for new Programme Directors.

​​ARIA is a UK R&D funding agency created to unlock technological breakthroughs at the edge of the possible. ARIA Programme Directors (PDs) have unique independence to shape and lead high-impact R&D programs with a budget of ≈£50M each. From September 2024 ARIA is recruiting a new cohort of PDs who will identify critical global challenges, build a team around a shared vision, and drive technological breakthroughs to address them.
