Welcome to the 9th episode of Season 11 of Productized Podcast. In season, we are talking about the future of our cities. What if cities cared more about their digital products and services and treated their citizens like customers they want to retain? If the mayor would be the equivalent of the CEO, who would take the role of an eventual Chief Product Officer? More importantly, what transformations and improvements could this bring about for lives as citizens as a whole? This is the podcast where innovators, geeks, creators, and entrepreneurs, come to discuss impactful ideas.
In this episode, André talks to Martin Harris. Martin is the principal of The Lisboan School. It is an all-through school with places from the early years to year 13, of the British Curriculum. Martin has over 20 years of experience in being a Headmaster in schools across different latitudes. About 2 years ago Martin moved to Portugal to establish his school on his terms with a new educational model. Martin is also the Governor at St Mary's Calne charity organisation.
Topics we will cover:
What's the advantage of new education model?
How to encourage children to find and follow their passions?
Where to bring kids while we are busy working?
What did martin learn from 20+ years of being a Headmaster at schools?
