Zine Launch Party for the People’s Struggle in the Philippines🇵đź‡
​Please join us for the launch of our zine, Imperyalismo Ibagsak! A Primer on the People’s Struggle in the Philippines. As anti-imperialist organizers in solidarity with the Filipino people, we’re excited to uplift what we learned on our recent solidarity trip to the Philippines, where we met with organizations engaged in principled struggle from fisherfolk communities and peasants, to women’s workers associations and political prisoners. This zine is a collection of stories from these communities that we hold the responsibility to share and act on. The event will feature a short introduction to the zine, cultural performances, community-building, and opportunities to purchase the zine and other products. All proceeds will benefit the people’s movement and folks on the ground in the Philippines.
​The event will take place in Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore. In order to keep each other safe, please wear a mask!
