DAOstar Community Call #1 π
βπ Tuesday, July 8 | π 10:30 AM ET - 11:15 AM ET
βCurious about what's emerging at the intersection of DAOs, digital governance, and organizational behavior?
βJoin us for DAOstar's Community Calls, where builders, researchers, and academics share ideas, questions, and prototypes from the frontlines of DAO innovation. Topics span computational social science, online coordination, political theory, and more. You might hear a new standard, a governance experiment, a work-in-progress paper, or a live demo.
βThese are informal and open sessions designed for collaborative learning. We begin with introductions and open space time where participants can share what they want to learn or contribute. Following that, we'll have the main presentation and end off with a community Q&A.
βWant to share your work or facilitate a discussion? Apply to be a presenter here.
βπ§ Today's Sharing: The Powers Protocol
βDr Teije Hidde Donker is a research fellow at DAOstar investigating recent developments in DAO governance. He is also a former lecturer in political sociology at the University of Cambridge.
βWe'll explore what problems it solves, how it compares to existing solutions like Aragon OSx and Hats, and see a live demo of the proof-of-concept.
