Dynamic, Interoperable Ecosystem Map Reveal

​​A long time ago, in a Collabathon far far away, a project was born: the ever elusive dream of a dynamic, interoperable way of creating ecosystem maps! No longer would we be required to maintain a constantly out of date Google sheet or Airtable by hand, and duplicate each other's efforts by creating Yet Another directory or Kumu of all the projects doing cool things. 

​Well, this dream is one big step closer to reality.

​​Due to the efforts of the Murmurations Protocol team, the Catalist team, and the Hylo team, as well as contributions from Seriously, Nestr and others, we are ready to reveal major progress on this front. In this update event and demo we will show how groups, projects and organizations can maintain a public profile on the platform of their choice, publish those profiles using a standard schema, add relationships with other organizations, and have that data aggregated and displayed automatically on a map that stays up to date as the data changes.

​This is the first step towards enabling inter-network, cross-platform updates to support search and discovery and reduce wheel-reinvention on the path to decentralised collaboration between groups.
