This marks our second year collaborating with Primary to host an event around their Summit and celebrate New York's thriving startup ecosystem together. Join us for an evening of networking and art as we close out the Summit in style.

About the Venue
Hauser & Wirth’s 18TH STREET location is the gallery’s first dedicated space for Editions. Anchored by the Hauser & Wirth Publishers flagship bookstore, the historic building is also a hub for Learning initiatives, Public Programs and more.
The venue also hides the speakeasy Roth Bar made from locally sourced salvaged materials, designed by Björn, Oddur and Einar Roth, son and grandsons of German-born Swiss artist Dieter Roth. Drinks & Amuse-bouches will be served.

This fall, Hauser & Wirth 18TH STREET will explore Philip Guston's significant, yet often-overlooked, printmaking practice, filling a longstanding void in discussions of the artist’s oeuvre. Organized around three titular themes, ‘Room, Sea & Sky’ investigates the metamorphic qualities of Guston’s practice through his printmaking.
Philip Guston (1913 – 1980) is one of the great luminaries of twentieth-century art. His commitment to producing work from genuine emotion and lived experience ensures its enduring impact. Guston’s legendary career spanned a half century, from 1930 to 1980. His paintings—particularly the liberated and instinctual forms of his late work—continue to exert a powerful influence on younger generations of contemporary painters.
