​White marble from Greece is shipped to China, sculpted into statues, and then returned to European stores, waiting to be taken home by Chinese tourists. A Marble Travelogue follows the people within this cyclical trade—businessmen, workers, and cultural intermediaries—offering a witty and nuanced perspective on the global capitalist "food chain" of an era driven by China's economic power, exploring in the context of migration and cultural appropriation: how does stone serves as a language, and sculpture acts as a translation.

​來自希臘的白色大理石被運往中國，雕刻成雕像後，又作為紀念品運回歐洲的商店，等著被中國遊客帶走。《石史詩》追隨這場循環貿易中的人物——商人、工人與文化中介者，以幽默而細膩的視角，展示以中國經濟作為驅動力的資本主義新時代全球化“食物鏈”上的眾生相，討論在移民大背景下的文化挪用中，石頭如何作為語言，而雕塑如何翻譯彼此。
