Yale + Connecticut Women Scientist Wikipedia Editathon

​Event Overview: Hosted in collaboration between Yale Ventures, amplifyHERscience, Yale Library, Yale School of Medicine, and the Connecticut Technology Council, this Wikipedia Editathon is a collaborative event celebrating Women's History Month, aimed at amplifying the contributions of women from Connecticut to history, science, technology, arts, and culture on one of the world's largest and most widely used knowledge platforms: Wikipedia. We will have resource materials from the Yale Library and lists of Yale and Connecticut women scientists. This hands-on editathon will empower participants to create, expand, and improve Wikipedia entries about notable women, addressing the significant gender gap in content representation on the platform. Lunch will be provided.
