Two of the hottest topics for country managers right now are recruitment and the application of AI to business. AI continues to improve at a prodigious pace—but without quite delivering the killer workplace functionality. Yes, ChatGPT is impressive, but it’s still more like a personal assistant than a full-fledged corporate tool.
Could that change? Could recruitment be the application that finally makes AI essential? After all, few things are more critical to a successful—and sustainable—company than a competent hiring policy.
Unfortunately, we’ve all heard stories of great candidates being mysteriously rejected - by AI. We hear less about the misfits who make it into senior roles, having successfully "gamed" AI —but surely they exist too.
