Community Builders Panel: Creating Engaging Virtual Events
Gatheround is thrilled to feature Maisha Cannon (The Collab Lab), Ece Kurtaraner (Generalist World), and Brandon Cestrone (EDU Fellowship and CS Insider) in this session — each of these panelists has extensive experience creating and hosting virtual community events!
There are a lot of good reasons to expand your community virtually: global reach, lower costs, and more access for more people, to name just a few. BUT a lot of community builders have given up on remote, virtual growth. The number one reason why? It feels impossible to capture the magic of in-person connection in online spaces.
🎉 Join us for a discussion focused on how we can take advantage of all the benefits of virtual community events while still harnessing that indefinable something that happens in-person.
🗣️ This event will include breakout discussion and full-group sharing, so we can learn from everyone in attendance, in addition to our panelists! Come ready to contribute to the discussion!
What to expect:
We’ll host this event on Gatheround, so you can expect 60 min of interactive breakout conversations and knowledge sharing.
Please come prepared to be on camera and mic for parts of this event.
See you there!
