About Event

As the state increases its tactics of hostility here in the UK against migrants and racialised people, Palestinians and Muslims, trans and queer people, and yes every other marginalised group, so does the hostility many of us face on the day-to-day as we try to go about our lives: on the street, on public transport, and other public spaces. Verbal and physical abuse is often targeted at those of us who are unlikely to seek or receive support from the state (eg police), and so we have to rely on each other to keep each other safe.

Join this online workshop to share experiences and knowledge, and build and practice skills to support each other to intervene on racist/sexist/transphobic/ableist harassment and violence in public space. This workshop is open to and useful for people of all identities. Please register to receive the zoom link.

This event is available for free.

For those who can afford to contribute a donation of £5-£50 we really appreciate this as an unincorporated collective with limited funds to pay for the facilitators' time and to contribute to us being able to run more workshops going forward.

About Cradle:

Cradle is an abolitionist collective made up of people radicalised by our shared experiences of gender and racial marginalisation. We are committed to building towards our collective liberation by experimenting with transformative justice approaches to conflict, harm and accountability. We do this by creating space for skill sharing, imagining and transformation.
