YoungTech Fireside: Big Tech to Founder
YoungTech is excited to present our next fireside series with Sanjay Parthasarathy at the iconic Startup Hall. During 19 years at Microsoft he launched and led the Developer & Platform Evangelism group, taking Microsoft .NET from idea to a $1 billion business, and later ran the Startup Business Accelerator. He then founded Indix, creating the world’s largest AI‑powered product‑data platform before selling it to Avalara, where he became Chief Product Officer and tripled revenue to $1 billion while shipping 20+ products a year.
Today Sanjay is operating partner and co‑owner of the Seattle Orcas Major League Cricket team, which topped the league table in its debut season, and he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Seattle Art Museum. An MIT dual‑master’s graduate and holder of multiple patents, Sanjay is known for building high‑performance teams, nurturing fan communities, and turning bold ideas into scalable ventures.
