Bio: Zach Weinersmith is the cartoonist of the webcomic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. He also writes popular science books with his wife Kelly, including the recent Hugo award-winning A City on Mars. He illustrated the graphic novel Open Borders and wrote the poem for the kids' graphic novel Bea Wolf. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Foreign Policy, Science Friday, the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, Le Monde, and other places he can't remember. He lives on an old farm in Virginia with his wife, two kids, three to five cats, 8 to ten chickens, and one to two dogs.
