​We’re planning a casual DJ session at Palm Grove Social (A café, gallery, & cultural hub in Mid-City celebrating coffee, art, music, and books) featuring 10-12 DJs. The main concept for the event is called USB Roulette: each DJ will prepare a USB stick with a crate labeled “SOS,” containing a 20-minute music crate of tracks in any genre. Please ensure your USB has no decorations, stickers, lanyards, or writing. We want to keep the USBs a complete mystery! All the USBs will be tossed into a basket, and each DJ will randomly select one to play a 15-minute set, using whatever tracks are on the USB they draw. This will be a fun and interesting challenge. This laid-back session will also be filmed by the S.O.S. team, capturing the spontaneous energy and vibes of the evening. It’s a homie-style gathering designed to bring everyone together for good music, fun, fostering creativity and community.
