David will share the learnings on how we help large language models to improve their capabilities to help engineering, and in return, how we use large language models to improve engineering efficiency. He is also looking forward to brainstorming on how engineering would evolve in the future.
About David Wei: David heads R&D at Turing.com, supporting a great team of engineering, research, data, product, and design whose work empowers thousands of engineers across the globe. Prior to Turing, he was a VP of engineering at Meta, supporting engineering and cross-functional teams on Growth, Internet.org, Social Impact, Integrity, and Product Platforms. David also worked at Google and FastSoft, a startup that commercialized his PhD thesis. David holds a PhD from the California Institute of Technology (2007). and a Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University (1997). He was a silver medalist at the International Olympiad of Informatics (IOI 1997) and at ACM/International Collegiate Programming Contest World Final (ACM/ICPC 2000).
