Holiday Party @Venture Mechanics

​Join us for a festive holiday party at Venture Mechanics in Bellevue! This lively celebration will be filled with delicious food, a variety of adult beverages, games, and live music to set the perfect holiday vibe. Mingle with fellow founders, investors, and community partners while enjoying a night of networking, fun, and friendly competition.

​Explore our demo tables, where startups will showcase their innovative products. As the consumer/CPG category has been expanding rapidly at Venture Mechanics, many of the booths will have free samples of food and beverages.

​The highlight of the evening will be the "Elevator Pitch Competition," kicking off at 8pm! Founders will get just 60 seconds to make their best pitch to a venture capitalist on an imaginary elevator ride. Who is the VC going to be, you ask? None other than Stanley Tucci! Come get your selfie with Stanley.

The "trapped VC" will only be allowed to emote in response to the pitch, signaling whether it captures their interest or disappoints. It’s a chance for founders to test their pitch, get feedback, and have a bit of fun while they're at it. The crowd will vote for Best Elevator Pitch, with a special gift awarded to the winner. ​ Several of our allied Seattle-area startup community groups - including Seattle Startup Friends, New Tech Northwest, the Black Founders & Funders, Veteran Founders & Funders, LGBTQ Founders & Funders, Filipino Founders & Funders, Space Founders & Funders, and others - are combining their holiday parties in with this jamboree event. Grab a bingo card when you arrive and start mingling—each square represents a different type of guest or activity at the party. Chat with a founder, demo a product, or introduce yourself to one of our community partners.
