Welcome to the Deep Fix Dialogue Series!

The Deep Fix Dialogues are spaces where we gather via Zoom to practice the art of dialogue (dialogos) on a variety of topics that matter. This week, we are dialoguing about:

Healthy criticism in an unhealthy society:

In many ways, it feels like today’s culture already has enough criticism. The postmodern era has been marked by critical deconstruction—sometimes to the detriment of building something new and emergent.

Yet healthy criticism lies at the root of all activist movements, especially the ones that have enacted profound change. So, what’s the role of criticism today? Is there a way to constructively––and maybe even playfully––critique without becoming cynical? What role does criticism play in your personal, professional, and online life?

All conversations are off-the-record and confidential. This is a space to share any and all views from our direct experience, no matter how divergent they may be. We aspire to provide a brave, rather than just "safe" space. We also offer personal insights, support each other, challenge each other, and more. All attendees can feel free to join the conversation or practice the art of listening and simply take it in.

If you'd like to attend and you are new to the Deep Fix community, please first signup for a $6/month subscription via the Deep Fix Substack, where you'll also gain access to our Discord, book clubs, local meetups, and more.

Accessibility is extremely important to us. If the monthly cost is prohibitive to you, please email deepfix@substack.com and we will grant you membership, no questions asked.
