lume presents: Nutrition and Cognition—the connection between diet, brain health, mood, and food cravings
Do you notice a correlation between what you eat and your attention, mental clarity, and productivity? Do you ever notice that your mood changes with the foods you eat or don’t eat? Or do you wonder why, when you’re trying to follow a healthy diet, all you can think about is chicken alfredo, chips, or mocha chip ice cream? What you eat certainly affects your brain, and your brain affects what you eat! In this interactive and practical session, Nina Frusztajer, MD, MS will show you how to use your diet and your brain for optimal cognitive function, balanced mood, and control over your eating without feeling deprived.
