The Startup Solve
Warning. This isn't your typical startup conference or networking event.
It's better.
It's the Startup Solve.
No speakers, no slides, no agenda.
Just breakthrough conversations and spectacular solutions.
A full-day festival of collaboration, Startup Solve is an open-space event where the attendees set the agenda, discuss what they feel is important, and work together to build solutions. We all know that the most productive conversations about startups happen when entrepreneurs choose their own adventures. Open Spaces are high-energy events where moonshots are conceived.
Who should attend The Startup Solve?
Startup founders, team members, enthusiasts, investors, service providers, and fans.
Is there really no agenda?
There is a schedule, but no agenda is set in advance. At the event's start, the attendees build the agenda based on what they want to discuss. This process is called "opening the space" and involves a wall, painters' tape, markers, and paper. We end the day by "closing the space."
There is no keynote, but a facilitator is responsible for opening and closing the space.
Kelly Flynn and Tim Chalk, co-founders of Kiksasa, will facilitate this Startup Solve. Kelly has facilitated Open Space conferences with 500+ attendees on topics ranging from product development to environmental engineering (and everything in between).
How much does the event cost?
The Startup Solve is free, thanks to our sponsors, Kiksasa and ATDC.
Kiksasa will be providing all attendees with a free membership in the Kiksasa Hub so that the conversations started during The Startup Solve can continue well past the event. Sign-up information will be provided to registered attendees in advance.
Will lunch be provided?
At the moment, lunch is DIY. However, there is plenty of space for sack lunches, and Tech Square has multiple fast-casual restaurants.
Who do I contact for more information?
Feel free to contact Kelly Flynn at kelly@kiksasa.com.
