About Event

Join experts from Fred Hutch Cancer Center for a conversation about cancer risk and prevention.  At this talk, we’ll learn how genetics impacts our personal risk for cancer and discuss how we can modify our diet to help lower our cancer risk. We’ll even look at how the gut microbiome is showing promise to improve outcomes during treatment. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions about the latest research on these topics, so bring your curiosity and join us for an engaging afternoon!

Objectives:

  • Understand the relationship between genetics, diet, microbiome, and cancer risk.

  • Discuss steps individuals can take to reduce their cancer risk.

  • Discover the work Fred Hutch is doing to prevent, treat, and detect cancer worldwide.
