With this group we hope to create a home for all things JuniorDev. We aim to guide and help your journey as junior developer in Malaysia. This is a special edition held at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

We will be hosting a regular get-together known as the DevMalaysia meetup. Here we socialise and connect with our fellow developers to swap stories while enjoying some food and drink provided by our generous sponsor.

He is also an organiser for local tech group DevMalaysia which consist of DevOps Malaysia, Junior Developers Malaysia, KualaLumpurJS and more.He works as Enterprise Architect at CTOS. Previously, he was with unicorn fintech startup called Xendit, AirAsia and Petronas Digital.

Helmi Ruza is a Malaysian fintech professional serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CHIP, a digital finance platform headquartered in Kuala Lumpur. CHIP, established in 2022, offers a suite of financial solutions for businesses.

Prior to his tenure at CHIP, Helmi held the position of CTO at TERAPI, a health-tech startup, where he applied his skills as a self-taught Ruby on Rails developer with experience in finance and mechanical engineering.

Helmi's diverse background in engineering, finance, and software development positions him as a knowledgeable speaker on topics related to digital finance, fintech innovation, and the integration of technology in business operations.
