Perseid Meteor Shower Watch Party In Joshua Tree - California

​Join TVOP volunteers Nora and Alex for an epic evening under the stars!

​We’re teaming up with REI Rancho Mirage to host our second night under the stars this year in Joshua Tree, except this time it will be during the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower. It’s going to be an unforgettable evening of stargazing, storytelling, and queer joy in the desert.

​We will have snacks and NA drinks available during the evening, but please bring your own dinner or eat something beforehand! If you plan to stay overnight, please bring breakfast in addition to your camp setup. There is a limit to the amount of cars we can park on site, so if you plan to stay overnight, please coordinate with your TVOP volunteers.

​We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them. This event is intended for the LGBTQ+ community and is open to allies. If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated on the hike.
