New Money Summit [Chicago]

​Let’s face it - most of us don’t know sh*t about money. Some of us probably even feel overwhelmed, confused, avoidant, or ashamed about the topic. Whether we’re from immigrant families or POC communities where society has encouraged more economic struggle than financial empowerment, there is a huge lack when it comes to our money mindset and financial literacy.

The New Money Summit is a one-day event to empower people of color to build financial confidence, create generational wealth, and shift into an abundance mindset. Through various, curated workshops and panels, attendees will learn about topics such as budgeting, investing, entrepreneurship, mindset, and more from relatable experts. Our goal is to start making conversations about money more transparent, approachable, and actually attainable for people of color who have no clue where to start.

  Financial wellness meditation for relieving financial trauma and establishing a wealthy mindset.
  

• ​1-2pm: New Money Basics Panel
  Interactive breakouts for budgeting, taxes, and debt management
  

• ​2-3pm: Building Wealth
  Innovative income streams and investing panel + lab
  

• ​3-4pm: Happy Hour + Games
  Create your game plan with your new money friends over food, music, vendors, and games.
