​Employee Blood Draw & Flu Shot Clinic:

No cost to any NICC employee regardless of insurance and spouses on the NICC Health Plan may also attend at no cost. Spouses not on the NICC Health Plan may attend for a fee.

The lab screening will cover the Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (includes fasting blood sugar, kidney function, liver function and electrolytes), Lipid Panel, TSH and Complete Blood Count. In addition, for individuals who screen with a glucose level of 99+, they will also run a Hemoglobin A1c screening. They will include a PSA test available for males 50 years of age or older. You can request a PSA if younger than 50 years, but it will out $33 out-of-pocket.

For spouses not covered under the NICC Health Plan the cost is $70 for the blood profile and $33 for the PSA. Checks should be made payable to NICC and left with a MercyOne staff member at the registration table.

All participants need to fast for 12 hours before the blood draw for accurate results; however plain water is permissible and recommended to stay hydrated. Necessary medications can also be taken with water. There will be light “to-go” refreshments available following your draw. The screening will also include a blood pressure reading, height, waist and weight measurements and a BMI calculation.

Walk-in flu shots available, no registration necessary. They are $40 for spouses not covered by our insurance or $85 for the high dose (65+ year).
