Joey Hua is a design collaborator and storytelling enthusiast based in Canada. Her design practice has touched non profit, government and fin-tech spaces. Joey’s educational background in Sociology and combined past experiences in sales & consulting heavily influences their way of working as a designer. Currently, Joey is a UX designer at Manulife Financial where she works with designers and non-designers alike to build better customer experiences. As a Design Mentor at ADPList, Joey focuses on helping new and junior designers through reviews, Q&As and supportive guidance.

Nicolas Backal is a Product Designer from Mexico City living and working in San Francisco with a background in Architecture. As a team lead, he has experience designing, developing and launching great products in both startups and big tech companies. He believes that building the business case for design, acting as a multiplier, and constant team collaboration leads to successful outcomes.
