About The Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy is an interactive six-week educational fellowship designed for high school and college students who are passionate about creating sustainable, ethical food systems. By participating, you’ll build the knowledge, skills, and relationships to challenge industrial animal agriculture and drive meaningful change both on your campus and within your community.

About New Roots Institute

New Roots Institute is a nonprofit empowering the next generation with knowledge and training to end factory farming. Through interactive classroom lessons and leadership programming, New Roots Institute inspires critical thinking and dynamic discussions about the impacts of industrial animal agriculture on people, animals and the planet. We are strengthening the movement—spreading change from individuals to their communities, and growing outward into wider systems-level change.
