UF Hackathon / Founder Workshops
NOTE: ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE TICKET TO THE GAINESVILLE INNOVATION SUMMIT ON THURSDAY (10/5)
OneSixOne Ventures is partnering with Ironhack to kick off the Gainesville Innovation Summit with a mini hackathon where students will have the opportunity to team up and launch an MVP (minimum viable product). Ironhack will be hosting a design thinking workshop and we will have breakout sessions including a workshop on pitching your startup and a workshop on Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) at Scale led by vector databases by Yujian Tang, a developer advocate at Zilliz!
We will also provide Pizza for all attendees!
The event will be from 2-6pm on Wednesday, October 4th at Bryan Hall 130
1384 Union Road, Gainesville, FL 32611
OneSixOne Ventures will have a couple of mentors stopping by as well so this will be a great networking opportunity for any students interested in launching a startup or working at a startup, and/or connecting with VCs/investors.
This event is primarily open to students and recent alumni/dropouts. If you’re interested in attending as a mentor or have any other questions, please reach out directly to Justis or Pablo.
