About Event

Live Podcast Recording 🎙️🌎

Think your job isn’t a climate job? Think again.

Join CARL (Climate Action Resource Library) and the Any Job Can Be a Climate Job podcast for a live podcast recording and candid panel discussion during SF Climate Week. We’ll talk with folks who have used their existing roles—many in so-called “non-climate” jobs—to drive meaningful sustainability efforts at work.

You’ll walk away with inspiration, real-world stories, and a practical framework for finding climate-aligned actions you can take—whether you’re a keyboard jockey, an actual jockey, or work for Jockey 😉

🧠 This is a live recording of the podcast, so come ready to learn, reflect, and be part of the conversation. Your questions and energy will help shape the episode!

Moderator:

Louisa Henry’s climate spark was lit at 15 when she gave up meat, inspired by her mom. After 20 years in product leadership at places like JPMC, Airtable, and Gusto, she now coaches climate founders and hosts Any Job Can Be a Climate Job—a podcast spotlighting people turning their day jobs into tools for change.

Panelists:

Charlie Sellars is the snow-loving, Minneapolis-based author of What We Can Do: A Climate Optimist's Guide to Sustainable Living. Pulling from his experience as a director of sustainability at Microsoft, his book underscores that every action can be a sustainable action and every job can be a sustainability job.

Shruti Chander is a seasoned SaaS and life sciences leader with 18+ years of experience in customer success, strategic partnerships, healthcare and climate advocacy. She is passionate about embedding climate action into every role and currently drives impact through internal sustainability initiatives, low-carbon living, and community engagement.

Gabriel Dover is the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Moon Five, a startup helping apartment residents electrify their buildings—starting with at-home EV charging. With over a decade of experience in advertising and marketing tech, Gabe previously led strategic partnerships and enterprise client growth at multiple startups. He began his climate journey by launching employee-led sustainability efforts within his former companies, and now works full-time to accelerate decarbonization in multifamily housing through scalable electrification solutions.
