​About Dr. Iphigenie Bugingo:
Iphigenie has proudly earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), alongside her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Management and Policy. During her studies, she broadened her horizons internationally as a guest researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, contributing to groundbreaking projects focused on brain network disorders using engineered cerebral organoids. These innovative studies aim to develop new engineering approaches for understanding and manipulating healthy and diseased brain tissues. Most excitingly, Iphigenie has been accepted into the Psychiatry residency program at OHSU, marking the beginning of an inspiring new chapter.
