Camp Craft: Trinket Treasures
Dawn your bandanas, your water bottles, a spirit of play and get ready for a nostalgic day full of craft, the outdoors, and new friends.
In this adult summer day camp series, we'll gather together and remember what it's like to have a tactile, communal summer full of possibility.
Each day long session will take place right here in Brooklyn, running from 9am to 7pm with three creative sessions, time for play, reflection, a communal meal and the outdoors amongst 15 new friends. It will be one of those time warp days, that make you feel like you're existing on an alternate plane (in the best way).
If you're looking to get out of your normal routine, sprinkle a little magic into your week, meet cool humans, work with your hands and just play around a little— camp craft is, well, your destiny.
This trinket treasures edition of camp craft will feature three creative experiences orbiting around all things shiny and tiny.
Session 1: Stamp Carving & Printing
Learn the basics of lino cutting before crafting your own 2x2in stamps! Customize your sketchbook for the day, and then take them home and use them forever in your scrapbook, letters, birthday cards, to make custom wrapping paper, to upcycle garments, you literally name it because the use for these tiny creations is truly endless.
Session 2: The Craft of Bead Embroidery with special guest Kadiatu Flory
Learn the art of bead embroidery in this meditative (outdoor!) workshop— crafting a beaded magnet, brooch or patch using traditional techniques
Session 3: Make a Mobile
We're bringing back our make a mobile experience for one day only— Craft the coolest, and most custom to you hanging art piece with beads, trinkets, charms, photos, ribbons & (much) more! The perfect new addition to that a-little-too-dark corner of your apartment.
What else we have in store:
a guided journaling session
a communal, outdoor, meal from our favorite neighborhood spot
coffee, snack, pick me ups galore

Please note! The session will run from 9am to 7pm. In order to make the most of the experience, we ask that you join us for the entire day! All dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!

Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
