​Welcome to the second ADPList Amsterdam Chapter speaker event brought to you in collaboration with Ironhack.

We’re very excited for this one! A resume is your first impression with any potential employer, and it’s important to make it a lasting one. In such a competitive market, recruiters go through hundreds of resumes for any given position, and so your resume has a few seconds to grab their attention and convince them that you’re a candidate worth pursuing.

​But how do you do that? What do recruiters look for in resumes? Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be on the other side of that email?

​Here’s your chance to get up close and personal with an experienced recruiter and understand how they operate and how to build that resume which sticks out among hundreds.

​👉 The Format:

​Our speaker will lead a brief presentation on crafting a successful resume, offering key strategies and tips. Afterward, she'll review a selection of pre-submitted resumes, providing personalized feedback by highlighting strengths and suggesting improvements based on the insights shared in her talk.

​This is not mandatory, but it could be helpful. Also, please note that in the interest of time, the speaker may or may not pick your resume to feature in one of their examples. Also, this will not be a detailed critique session on any one or two resumes, but an overarching presentation of what an ideal resume should look like.

​You will then be able to bring these takeaways back with you and apply them to your own resumes to achieve greater success in your job search.
