What: A primer on Growth Marketing :rocket: Growth is an amorphous, often misunderstood, broad yet very important functional area in startups that touches on so many adjacent roles. Being able to understand and harness key concepts from growth marketing into your day-to-day in product, bizops or your current role will help you better deliver on your goals and well, drive growth :upside_down_face:

Kareem will walk us through the entire customer journey from awareness to acquisition to activation, retention, revenue, and referral. We'll also learn about viral loops - the fastest growing companies are ones that are able to create a viral loop where as a result of their efforts, their existing customers drive new ones.

Who: Kareem is a startup aficionado and seasoned growth marketer. He is currently at Houzz, a home reno & interior design platform that has raised over $600M from investors like Sequoia and GSV. Kareem previously led expansion across product marketing & growth for Coohoom to help them launch internationally.
