We are launching a new initiative dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative ecosystem for artificial intelligence builders throughout British Columbia. Our first gathering is focused on understanding the needs of our community and collectively shaping the future of BCABC.
BC AI Builders Collective (BCABC) - Meeting #1: Community Foundation
Purpose of this Meeting: This inaugural session is designed as a collaborative workshop. We aim to move beyond assumptions and hear directly from you – the AI practitioners, innovators, and leaders in BC. Your insights will directly inform the structure, goals, and offerings of the BCABC.
Key Discussion Areas:
Identifying Core Needs: A discussion on the primary challenges, resource gaps, and opportunities faced by AI professionals and ventures within British Columbia.
Defining BCABC's Role: Exploring how this collective can provide unique value and effectively differentiate itself from other support organizations (e.g., accelerators, incubators) to best serve the community.
Objectives for this Session:
To gather direct input on the essential requirements of BC's AI builders.
To collaboratively define a distinct and valuable mission for the BCABC.
To initiate the formation of a strong, connected community network.
Who is Invited? We encourage participation from anyone actively involved or keenly interested in the BC AI landscape, including developers, data scientists, entrepreneurs, researchers, product leaders, investors, and students.
