Maria Velkova is a Managing Partner at Tabula Rasa Ventures, an investment firm specializing in building the future of human health – one that is holistic, preventative, personalized, and democratized. She is a seasoned biopharma executive with 10+ years of experience developing and implementing global drug strategy for top pharma companies like Roche, AstraZeneca, Novartis, and more. Maria is recognized as one of the top 15 Global Psychedelics Executives, has led high profile events at Davos, alongside the World Economic Forum, and pioneered education on psychedelic therapeutics in the Arab Region. Maria holds a degree in BSc Pharmacology from Leeds University and MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from Cambridge University, where she was a visiting lecturer in 2016.
