Jon Bonanno

Jon Bonanno is the Managing Partner of Factor. Jon oversees all aspects of Factor’s business and leads the Capital Access and Emotional Awareness & Development practices within the organization. He has been of service to hundreds of global clean economy CEOs on topics of governance, capital formation, corporate culture, financial innovation and leadership advisory. He also serves as a Special Advisor to clean economy investors, portfolio managers and grant makers (governments and nonprofits). Prior to Factor, Jon was the CXO of the New Energy Nexus/California Clean Energy Fund, where he mentored and coached portfolio companies and educated and enabled clean energy entrepreneurs to use and benefit from Opportunity Zone finance. Prior to the New Energy Nexus, Bonanno co-founded and served as the CCO & Board Director of Empower Micro Systems, a power electronics firm focused on solar, energy storage and EV applications, which was sold in 2017 to SunGrow.
