Dan Bertelson

As a managing owner of 13 RE/MAX Office Franchises for more than a decade, Dan has obtained investment, sales and management experience in Real Estate since 2001. He has worn many hats over the years in the South Central Wisconsin real estate market and insurance markets. Being a 3rd generation entrepreneur, he has been involved in all aspects of the business. Real Estate Sales, office building, team building, business building, policy/procedure curation, plan implementation, marketing, technology development, training, coaching, mentoring, speaking, teaching, selling, buying, and investing in the industry earned him positions on leadership councils for RE/MAX LLC, RE/MAX INTEGRA and currently the 2022 President of the South Central Wisconsin MLS. He also has extensive knowledge of remodeling, building, insurance, financing, investing and business operations consulting. With a background in small business, military leadership, law enforcement, team management and a desire to change lives, Dan plays a huge role in expertly assisting all of his business owner agents and real estate clients alike. In addition to owning RE/MAX Franchises, Operates a Business Consulting and Media Firm “Preferred Success”, Co-Owns an Insurance Brokerage “Insuring Badgerland” and is a Partner with “Preferred Commercial Property Management” and “Preferred Commercial Group, all in Madison/Monona Wisconsin, with his connections and affiliation, he has the ability to serve customers and clients across the globe.
