Reforesters Practice
How might we reforest ourselves in a concrete jungle? We practice visualization in meditation, movement as medicine, and facilitated reflective writing in community!
Sunday is a day of rest, join our Guide, Amanda Azadian who is a writer, certified yoga teacher, nature lover, and product manager in healthcare technology writing about what it means to “reforest” health and wellbeing in our moderns healthcare industry.

Reforesters Laboratory is an experimental adaptogenic cafe and sound clinic located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We utilize music – including spatial, sub-bass-centered, and organic instrumentation – along with breathwork, meditation, art, plant care and adaptogenic, nutritional foods + beverages to cultivate kindness—both physical and spiritual. We aim to create an environment that offers peace, space, and clarity, helping people understand the connections between themselves, their communities, and the world around them. To that end, we offer "pay what you can" ticket options on all events and classes.
Amanda is bridging the worlds of traditional holistic medicine and modern technology into an integrative and healing experience for clients. She writes a blog called Mod-A-Tional, is trained in yoga, studies Traditional Chinese Medicine, and runs digital health programming at the American Medical Association.
