AI Weekend Conference

​AI Weekend is the new initiative by the Croatian Association for Artificial Intelligence, also known as CroAI, and the Weekend.17 conference.
Our goal with this conference is to position Croatia on the map of the world’s best tech conferences.

​The idea behind AI Weekend is to create a conference that bridges the business world with the world of artificial intelligence. No buzzwords, no fluffy storytelling, no “will AI take our jobs” panels.

​We want to focus on topics and questions that are currently challenging major companies and new market players, such as:

• ​How much does it cost to establish an AI team within a company and when will this investment pay off?

• ​Does every company need an AI team?

• ​How do you determine the price of a product?

• ​How do you stand out in the sea of new products entering the market every day?

• ​What strategies have some big companies failed with and what have they learned from those failures?

• ​Has Europe regulated itself out of competitiveness?

​Through a combination of international and local guest speakers, we want to address these questions honestly, without beating around the bush, embellishments, and buzzwords.

​AI Weekend will be held from September 19th to 22nd, 2024, in Rovinj, Croatia.
