In today’s world, there’s no shortage of Fortune 100 executives who’ve built impressive careers — but often at the expense of their families, their marriages, or their integrity. What’s rare — truly rare — is someone who has not only succeeded at the highest levels of business, but also as a husband, a father, and a force for social good. That’s exactly what makes Sunil "Sonny" Garg such a powerful example of what’s possible when leadership is rooted in authenticity and legacy.

Sunil "Sonny" Garg is a former Fortune 100 executive, serial civic leader, and the current CEO and Co-Founder of the Center for Expanding Leadership & Opportunity (CELO). With over two decades of experience in business, government, and the non-profit world, Sonny has built a career at the intersection of leadership, impact, and values.

Before launching CELO, Sonny held senior leadership roles at Exelon Corporation, including President of Exelon Power and the company’s first Chief Information and Innovation Officer. There, he led initiatives spanning renewable energy, emerging technologies, and cultural transformation — all grounded in the belief that authentic leadership creates sustainable results.

Sonny's journey also includes public service and social impact. He was appointed a White House Fellow by President Clinton and served as an aide in the Office of Management and Budget. He helped launch World Business Chicago under Mayor Richard Daley and has been deeply involved with mission-driven organizations such as the Interfaith Youth Core, Invisible Institute, and Project&.

Through it all, Sonny has remained focused on one essential question: What does it mean to live and lead with integrity — and leave behind a meaningful legacy?

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation on "Authentic Leadership & Legacy", where Sonny will share personal stories and hard-won lessons on:

  • Leading with purpose in high-stakes environments

  • Building a legacy rooted in values, not just achievements

  • Navigating identity, ambition, and service as a modern leader

  • Creating inclusive opportunities and expanding your impact

If you're looking to lead more courageously, live more intentionally, and build something that lasts — this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
