ReCity is a collective impact hub of 32 mission-driven organizations that provide programs and/or services to over 25,000 Durham residents, most of whom are under-resourced and/or marginalized.
This event will introduce and define “sustainability” to all 32 ReCity member organizations, their corresponding networks, and the broader Durham community, thereby raising awareness through education and engagement. The goal is to illustrate that “sustainability” is not an either or/all or none, but a spectrum, and that everyone can play their part in building a better future together.

“Sustainability fair” features organizations, programs, and initiatives that already exist. Businesses and companies that integrate sustainability in their work or products will also be invited
Lightning talks - 5 minute TED-style presentations illustrating sustainability in action “in our own backyard”

Social impact + sustainability happy hour featuring local food and beverages. Live music via DJ or band(s) are also being planned
