With Spivak and Lorde in our minds, let's experiment with the transformative power of anger and performative act of disruption. Hoài and Miriam, founders of the Institut of Affirmative Sabotaging, bring us an interactive session around the notion of sabotage.

Miriam Yosef is a researcher, political education facilitator, writer, and theater maker. She is working on interwoven diasporic narratives, resistance and alienation. Miriam is currently a Research Fellow at ELES and is pursuing a PhD on Critical Race Theory and Ashkenormativity at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
Thu Hoài Trần is a theater maker, educator & researcher. They are directing and writing plays, doing research on theater and social inequality, sharing knowledge on intersectionality, thinking about solidarity and emotions, questioning power relations and learning to love contradictions. Hoài stages fictional realities to understand and sabotage social power relations.

💲All money earned through ticket sales will go to remunerate Festival guests. Miriam Yosef é pesquisadora, facilitadora de educação política, escritora e criadora de teatro. Ela está trabalhando em narrativas diaspóricas entrelaçadas, resistência e alienação. Atualmente, Miriam é pesquisadora no ELES e está fazendo doutorado em Teoria Crítica da Raça e Ashkenormatividade na Universidade de Duisburg-Essen.
Thu Hoài Trần é criadore de teatro, educadore e pesquisadore. Elu está dirigindo e escrevendo peças, fazendo pesquisas sobre teatro e desigualdade social, compartilhando conhecimento sobre interseccionalidade, pensando sobre solidariedade e emoções, questionando relações de poder e aprendendo a amar as contradições. Hoài encena realidades fictícias para entender e sabotar as relações sociais de poder.
