Talk with Paul Biggar of Tech for Palestine
Paul Biggar will be sharing his experience as a tech innovator who spoke up, how allies can bring awareness to the issue, and what Tech for Palestine aims to achieve.
Paul is the founder of Tech For Palestine, where thousands of tech workers collaborate on projects to advance the cause of Palestinian freedom.
Paul previously founded a unicorn (multi-billion dollar) startup called CircleCI, and was recently removed from its board after writing a viral blog post for Gaza called "I Can't Sleep" read by millions. This led to the formation of Tech For Palestine.
Prior to launching Tech for Palestine just two months ago, he was running a new startup called Darklang that simplifies writing cloud backends. Paul has an impressive resume prior to these companies. He completed his Ph.D. in compilers/static analysis, worked on Firefox while at Mozilla, and has gone through the prestigious startup accelerator Y Combinator.
