​This event is meant to bring the community together for a cool and fun evening to hang out, learn and talk about Web3 and Polkadot.

​We'll cover intro to Polkadot and its current roadmap, the underlying technology powering Polkadot, highlight Polkadot in Africa as well as hear from Polkadot builders in Africa.

​This will be a fun and educative experience for all our attendees, get Polkadot Alpha and learn about the opportunities in the ecosystem, and you will have the chance to meet and network with contributors and builders, share ideas and initiate collaborations.

​​Here is our list of guest speakers:

​1. Bekka is a proud alumna of the Polkadot Blockchain Academy, she began her community-building journey in 2022 as a key contributor to the Rust Nigeria newsletter. She later launched the Rust Nigeria Classroom—a beginner-friendly initiative for aspiring Rust developers—and founded the Rust Nigeria Meetup, now thriving with over 300 members. Her impactful work with the Classroom earned recognition from the Rust Foundation, leading to funding for two Rust events in Nigeria. Currently, she serves as the Lead DevRel at Polkadot Africa championing its growth and adoption across Africa.

​2. Kaioh is a rockstar Blockchain Dev working as a DevOps Engr at Dwellir a Blockchain Infrastructure company providing infrastructure development services for Polkadot, Ethereum and a host of other Blockchains networks.

​3 SirJey is a Medical Dr, Polkadot Senior Ambassador and a seasoned community builder. Presently he is the host of Polkadot networking eve.
