Started by Roland Fryer (Harvard Economist) and Bill Helman (former Greylock Managing Partner), Equal Opportunity Ventures invests in early-stage startups that increase opportunity in America. We support entrepreneurs in creating commercially successful companies that increase economic mobility. Some of our investments include Stepful, JobGet and Kaipod Learning.

Join us for coffee and co-working with our new Venture Partner, Michelle Rhee, who leads our investments in workforce and education. Michelle is the former Chancellor of DC Public Schools and Founder of Students First. Most recently, she co-founded Build Within.

We are excited to meet early-stage founders and builders in the education and workforce community in NYC. If you’re thinking about starting or growing a company, we’d love to meet you.
